Florida Has No Fault Insurance

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

The State of Florida has what is called, “No Fault” insurance. This means that the auto insurance company will pay off for injury claims no matter who is at fault. Limits apply to what auto insurance companies in Florida will pay for Personal Injury Protection (PIP). This is an excellent system for the drivers in Florida; however it is important that you add bodily injury liability to your automobile insurance policy, irrespective of the requirements by the state. The minimum is only $10,000.00 but it is recommended that you buy at least $100,000.00; the same with damage to property which also has a minimum of $10,000.00.

States that do not have “no fault” insurance can be very challenging for the injured parties trying to win justice. Another benefit is Florida cheap auto insurance for its drivers. A person who is in chronic pain might tell you to add exclamation points to that sentence! Florida drivers look at other states that are fighting out their auto accidents in the court system with this attitude. Even if the pain ultimately disappears, the discomfort, as the doctors euphemistically call it, can be a searing experience while it lasts.

This image Directory galleries, where shows what is liability ...What is liability insurance in terms of umbrella liability insurance? Umbrella liability insurance can be taken out by companies and individuals in order to protect them from claims which are above the amounts that are covered for on their main insurance policy or claims for which they are not currently covered for. It is like a top up insurance policy so when their main policies’ cover has been used but they are liable for more, this can be claimed against the umbrella liability insurance policy. Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Don’t you just hate it when you get cold callers trying to sell you things? I’ve just got off the telephone from another one of those calls, mind you give him his due it was a slightly different type of call and it might actually come in useful for the future. I normally get lots of telephone calls or door stop visits trying to get me to change energy supplier so this made a change for them to be trying to sell me moped insurance. I let him do his entire spill and jargon before I told him I didn’t even have a moped and then I took his details anyway because my son is thinking about getting a moped so I thought it might come in handy if he does. I looked up the company on the internet and just for fun did a quick quote for moped insurance and was actually very surprised to see the price so I have saved it just in case.

First Date and Auto Insurance Quotes

Sunday, October 16th, 2011

Derek hated first dates. They always combined the worst part of interviews and creative writing classes with the weird open ended questions. He tried to look interested when the girl asked him to “recall the first sporting event that you ever attended.” Derek wondered if she had read this in a how-to book or maybe even Dating for Dummies. He sighed and told her that the only thing he could remember about the first baseball game he went to was that it was sponsored by an insurance company and the back of the souvenir program listed auto insurance quotes. She looked a little disappointed. He wasn’t sure if it was because she was a sports fan or if it was because she thought he was boring and sarcastic. Maybe it was both. This was excruciating. He hoped that the waiter would spill something on him so he could leave with most of his dignity.

Do Natural Disasters Mean More Money from Insurance Costumers?

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

The recent natural disasters that have affected the United States are prompting fears of insurance price increases over the next few years. 2011 was a turbulent year for the US, which suffered from several natural disasters, from the recent Hurricane Irene, to deadly tornadoes across the south and floods in the Midwest. These disasters have, understandably, lead to a jump in insurance claims across the entire country which has lead to a concern amongst costumers that all of the claims will logjam the system and mean a longer time until they receive their much needed payout. It has also prompted concerns that insurance companies will be forced to raise prices because of such a high amount of money being paid out. However, as one of the leading worldwide insurance firms, Allianz Health Insurance says, neither is anything to worry about. Insurers are claming “business as usual” and have in some cases have had to hire extra staff to cope with demand. Insurers also say that while the damage from tornados, floods and hurricanes will mean more payouts for insurance companies, it will not mean an increase in insurance prices for costumers. Take for example Hurricane Irene, which struck the eastern coast of the United States in late August, caused extreme damage to homes and buildings because of high winds and flooding. The storm is expected to have caused insured damage claims somewhere in the low single-digit billions of dollars. But insurance companies like BUPA Internationalsay that that large number is not enough to prompt industry-wide price increases. They say that for an increase to take place the claims would have to be in the double-digit billions to really start to affect the insurance industry. The fear however still remains that if the US continues its streak of natural disaster, it could spell trouble for insurers and the costumers alike.

Nursing Home Insurance

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

My mom has just moved so I am going to help her get new insurance. She is in a retirement home right now, so I do not know what type of insurance she should get. I believe it is renter’s insurance, but I do not believe they have a special type of insurance for retirement homes. I have called my agent and he told me that he will get back to me with some insurance quotes for her situation. I want insurance for the contents of her unit since she has all her personal belongings there. She has people in and out all the time helping take care of her and cleaning up and she does not know them well. It would give her a nice feeling of security that will help her sleep better at night knowing that she is insured against damage and theft for all her belongings. For under $50 per month, I think just the feeling of security it will give her is well worth the cost.

The United States Ranks 37th Healthiest Nation

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

Recently, the world health organization announced that the United States ranks as the 37th healthiest nation in the world. I imagine this may be shocking to mostAmericans as we consider ourselves leaders in science and technology. Do not we have the best hospitals and doctors in the world? Are we not the most prosperous

country in the world? How can this be the case? Well, the answer is quite basic and I have written about this before. We must focus upon diet and exercise.

We have to develop a preventative policy as opposed to a reactive policy. By this I mean, we must take care of our bodies and focus upon healthy activitiessuch as diet and exercise. We can eliminate or, at least, reduce the incidence of many of our most serious diseases. For example, Type II diabetes is occurringat almost an epidemic rate.If we would manage our diet and manage our weight Type II diabetes would be reduced by more than 50%. Many of the other majordiseases including cancer will be reduced dramatically by dietary and life style changes.

By this I mean we must take care of our bodies and focus upon our health. It is so simple if we focus on preventative measures. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and whole grain foods. Do not smoke and keep away from high fat foods. Avoid processed foods where possible and exercise on a regular basis. If we begin to take care of ourselves, we as a nation will rise to number one as the healthiest nation in the world. We at lowmedicalinsurance.us offer affordable health insurance with excellent coverage and strive to educate our readers as how to improve their health and life style.
